Please donate to help fund my volunteer trip to Bali to teach underpriveledged kids

I am making a trip to Bali, Indonesia, in September 2013 for two months to teach underprivileged children with Volunteering Programs Bali, and I will be teaching Program Ubud. In the past two weeks since I was accepted to teach, I have gotten three jobs working to raise the money (about $4000) needed to teach these children – I am truly starting from scratch. The teaching is completely voluntary – meaning I do not get paid, other than in good vibes and a wonderful life experience knowing that teaching them is a stepping stone for them out of poverty. The school is funded by the volunteers’ placement fees (my placement fees are $1,136 USD because I will be there for eight weeks), a well as scholarships that the school offers.

The trip will cost me about $4000 in total ($1100+ plane ticket; $1,136 placement fee; travel visas, travel insurance, vaccinations, landing taxes, volunteer visas, lunches and dinners, incidentals like toiletries; supplies to teach the kids with).

As I said, I have gotten three jobs (one isn’t permanent) to pay for this trip because I am starting from scratch, but please donate if you’d like to not only help out these children have a brighter future, but give me a brighter future as well by having this experience. I am a hard worker and wouldn’t ask for donations unless necessary.

$5 is fine.. $2 is fine.. Anything you’d like, I very much appreciate. Thank you on behalf of myself and my future students. :)   I have checked with VP Bali and fundraising is acceptable with them. I have their blessing.
